In the calling sequence, you may supply the following variables:<br />

22.2.1 Function 0 (.ACTCH)<br />

Changes the account string for the specified job.<br />

You must have JACCT privileges to use Function O. Note that [1,2]<br />

privileges alone do not provide ability to perform this function.<br />

The argument list is formatted as:<br />

1 A byte pointer to the ASCIZ account string, or the word<br />

[-l"address], where address is the' location of the account<br />

string. In the latter case, account strings must be<br />

left-justified on a word boundary.<br />

22.2.2 Function 1 (.ACTRD)<br />

Reads the account string for the specified job.<br />

The maximum length for account strings is set by the system<br />

administrator when the monitor is generated by MONGEN (symbol name<br />

MLACTS). This default can be changed if your installation uses fewer<br />

than 39 characters in its account strings.<br />
