FUNCTION<br />

Forces a monitor command for a job or a terminal.<br />

requires JP.POK, JACCT, or [1,2] privileges.<br />

In the calling sequence, the program supplies the following variables:<br />

o<br />

o<br />

len is the length of the argument list.<br />

len, the default is 1.<br />

addr is the address of the argument list.<br />

If you give a zero<br />

o command is the name of a command (from the list below) .<br />

o jobno is the number of a logged-in job. If you omit the<br />

jobno, or specify it as zero, the current job is assumed.<br />

o<br />

udx is the Universal Device Index for the terminal.<br />

The names of the commands that can be forced are:<br />

INITIA<br />

Meaning<br />

Forces a DDT breakpoint trap, simulating .<br />

Detaches the job, this command is forced when a dataset<br />

disconnects.<br />

Continues the job; this command is forced when a job is<br />

continued after it was halted by "Waiting for operator<br />

action." (Refer to JCONTINUE monitor command in the<br />

Commands <strong>Manual</strong>.)<br />

Stops the job; this command is forced when you type<br />

CTRL/C.<br />

Connects (greets) the job; this command is forced when<br />

a dataset or network connect occurs, and runs INITIA.<br />

Invokes execution of the program which does automatic<br />

down-line loading for ANF-<strong>10</strong> series remote software.<br />

Greets the job but does not run INITIA .<br />

Types the current input buffer; this is equivalent to<br />

typing CTRL/R.<br />

Stops the job (regardless of CTRL/C trapping) .<br />

This command is forced when the system is initialized<br />

and is used to run INITIA for certain terminals.<br />
