The substance of Eph 4:11 is parallel<br />

to that of 1 Cor 12:28 but this parallelism should<br />

not be allowed to obscure the differences that there<br />

are between these two verses. Two of these concern<br />

gifts in Ephesians and not God, as in 1 Corinthians<br />

and, secondly, the preference of the author,of<br />
