occurs very frequently in the LXX as well as in the
Stoic and later Jewish writings and in every case

The argument is also open to

It is only in a very secondary sense that this
interpretation of ?C)..'TlpO~V , even if it could be
justified, could have anything to do with the author's

Admittedly the citation of Ps 67:19 does
introduce the thought of the submission of conflicting
powers but this thought is not primary;
