Exactly the same question can now be asked with respect to atqJ.a. _ in what way is the word used in the Pauline corpus? Of the first group the pericope where the metaphorical use of ~a is most obvious is 1 Cor 12:12-27 where Paul works out the metaphor in some with these texts where the term has a collective significance. -267-
