principle is the same as moving the feed in an ordinary paraboloid reflector.<br />

The reflector for this antenna is not paraboloidal, however, but is<br />

astigmatic, having different focal lengths in the horizontal and vertical<br />

planes because the points of divergence of the rays in the feed differ in<br />

the two planes.
