Doors and Fenestration
Zinzendorf Hall’s south main entrance retains its
paired original paneled doors with nine small upper
lights and brass hardware. The north entrance,
northeast porch entrance, and east basement
entrance all have modern doors.

Most of the historic double-hung windows in the
building are extant, and vary in configuration, but
typically have multiple lights above a single light.
Most are in need of paint and maintenance on the
exterior, despite the presence of storm sash. Some
of the first floor windows need reglazing.
The north window in the third floor of the large
east dormer has been retrofitted as a door to the
fire escape. The arched top of the window space
is preserved as a transom above the modern door.
A few original openings in the building have been
infilled with brick, and several basement windows
and one first-floor window have been infilled with
aluminum panels.

of the wing, at grade, is a narrow gabled one-story
entrance to a basement under the wing.
Additions
Zinzendorf Hall does not have any additions. The
frame wing and porch are believed to be original.
