leads to the upper floors. Both the second and third
floors have longitudinal central corridors with
numerous small rooms opening from the corridor.
Historic doors and millwork are present, and
modern restrooms are located on the east side of
each floor. Rooms on the third floor have slanted
walls and dormer windows.
Wall-to-wall carpeting and overhead fluorescent
lighting is installed throughout the building. Old
radiators and registers are extant. Woodwork
throughout the building is painted white. In a
number of areas, including hallway windowsills,
paint is cracking and failing, revealing a varnished
brown subsurface which may reflect the original
finish.
