z2 This mode plays back 2-channel source in 5.1 or 7.1-channel<br />
playback. It cannot be selected when headphones are used, or<br />
when only front speakers are used.<br />
z3 Some listening modes cannot be selected, depending on the<br />
audio format or number of channels of the input signal. For<br />
details, see “Types of input signals, and corresponding sound<br />
modes” (vpage 163).<br />
z4 These modes add a new channel to the 5.1 channel surround<br />
using Audyssey DSX ® processing (vpage 117).<br />
When “Heights” is selected in Audyssey DSX ® (vpage 117),<br />
a front height channel is added in playback. When “Wides” is<br />
selected, a front wide channel is added in playback.<br />
