Description<br />
This mode creates playback for the new channels (front wide or front height) in<br />
5.1-channel systems. By adding front wide or front high channels, the surround<br />
sound effects sound more three dimensional and realistic.<br />
z z This can be selected when a setting other than “None” is selected for “Front Height” or “Front Wide”,<br />
and a setting other than “None” is selected for “Center” in “Speaker Config.” (vpage 130).<br />

Description<br />
This mode is for enjoying stereo sound from all speakers.<br />
The same sound as that from the front speakers (L/R) is played back at the<br />
same level from the surround speakers (L/R) and surround back speakers (L/R).<br />
This mode is for enjoying the atmosphere of a live concert in an arena.<br />
This mode is for enjoying the atmosphere of a live concert in a jazz club.<br />
This mode is for playing monaural movie sources with surround sound.<br />
When playing sources recorded in monaural in the “MONO MOVIE” mode,<br />
the sound will be off balance with a single channel (left or right), so input to<br />
both channels.<br />
This mode is suited for achieving surround sound with video games.<br />
This mode lets you add a spacious feel to stereo music sources.<br />
This mode is for enjoying surround effects using only the front speakers or<br />
headphones.<br />

Description<br />
This is the mode for playing in stereo. The tone can be adjusted.<br />
• Sound is output from the front left and right speakers and subwoofer.<br />
• If multichannel signals are input, they are mixed down to 2-channel audio and<br />
are played.<br />

Sound recorded in source is played as is.<br />
This mode is for playback in higher sound quality than in DIRECT mode.<br />
Turn the display of the amplifier off to stop the analogue video circuit. This<br />
