You can manage alarm actions while creating them or edit existing alarm action. Further, you can edit the alarm actions based on rules of monitor policies or the alarm actions based on rules of real monitors. To activate the alarm action window for new alarm action, see Adding a new alarm action for more information. Activating the manage alarm action window for an existing alarm action in a policy Activate the monitor policy window. Expand the policy and find the alarm action in the rule of a policy monitor. Right click the mouse and select the menu option Configure. 132
Using MonitorMagic The same window can be activated by selecting the Properties from the rule. Now, select the tab Alarm actions, select the alarm action and press the Edit button. With a similar procedure, you can activate the same window directly from the monitor. Activating the manage alarm action window for an existing alarm action in a real monitor Activate the monitor window. Select the monitor containing the rule and alarm action. Right click the mouse and select the menu option Properties. Choose the Rules tab and select the appropriate rule and press the Edit button. Select the Alarm actions tab and choose the alarm action from the list. Press the Edit button.
