In a network environment, it is extremely important to have a good overview of total disk capacity and available disk space. If a computer running Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0 software runs out of disk space, serious (performance) problems may occur. You can create disk monitors directly or by using a monitor policy. It is recommended to create disk monitors by using monitor policies. For each logical disk drive, a disk monitor is used.
