Terminal Server Session Errors must be greater than 99
Terminal Server Session Frames must be greater than 90
Terminal Server Session Output Errors must be greater than 99
Terminal Server Session Private Bytes must be greater than 12MB
Terminal Server Session Timeouts must be greater than 99
Terminal Server Session Total Bytes must be greater than 90MB
Terminal Server Session Transport Errors must be greater than 99
These performance counter monitors contain rules with thresholds. These thresholds can be
used to determine a decrease in service and performance. You can add custom alarm actions to
these rules.

Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0
MonitorMagic contains a pre-defined policy for Microsoft Internet Information Service 5.0. This
policy contains monitors for IIS-specific services, events and performance counters. Each monitor
contains thresholds based on average sized networks.
Service Rules:
FTP Publishing Service must be running (automatic)
IIS Admin Service must be running (automatic)
Indexing Service must be running (automatic)
World Wide Web Publishing Service must be running (automatic)
These service monitors contain rules and alarm actions to make sure the service is restarted in
case of failure.
Event Rules:
Application log events with Internet Information Server errors
This event monitor contains rules to filter the application log for Internet Information Server errors.
You can add a custom alarm actions to these rules.
Performance Counter Rules:
ASP Request Queue must be greater than 30
ASP Requests/sec must be greater than 180
IIS % Processor Time must be greater than 95% for 2 minutes
IIS Object Cache Flushes must be greater than 1000
IIS Object Cache Hits must be less than 500
IIS Object Cache Misses must be greater than 1000
IIS Private Bytes must be greater than 32MB
IIS Thread Count must be greater than 20
