computer name and select the menu option Configure service. In the configuration window,
select the advanced tab, and click the button "Pager - SMS". You will be presented the following
window:
From the window you can select the pager - SMS provider and modem. The dialog contains the
following fields:
Available provider configuration settings
The list with provider known by the MonitorMagic service. MonitorMagic ships with a number of
predefined provider configuration settings. If your provider is not listed, you can add an extra
entry. When shown, the dialog shows the provider currently used by the MonitorMagic service. To
see the configuration settings for the selected provider, press the Manage button.
Configure modems
The list with modems installed on the computer running the MonitorMagic service. If the list
contains no entries, there are no modems installed on the computer. See Pager - SMS
installation and configuration overview for more information. From the list, select the modem that
must be used by the MonitorMagic service when sending pager - SMS messages.
Note: If you computer is equipped with a ServerSMS GSM Device from Anrich Systems,
and the software for the device has been installed, the list Configured modems contains
the entry ServerSMS GSM Device. When you select this entry, the MonitorMagic service
will send SMS messages using the ServerSMS GSM Device.
OK
Accept any changes made and exit the dialog.
Cancel
Discard any changes made and exit the dialog.
Manage
Add, change or view the available pager - SMS provider configuration settings.
Test
Send a test message using the selected provider and modem. When the button is pressed,
MonitorMagic will ask for the number of the pager - mobile telephone to be called. While sending
the test message, the MonitorMagic service will append log information to the file PagerSms.log
that can be found in the MonitorMagic data directory.
