MonitorMagic service registry settings
The MonitorMagic service reads a number of parameters from the computer's local registry. This
section summarizes these registry settings. Note that the registry is a secure area of the
computer. You should never change, create, or update settings in the registry directly
unless you are very sure about what you are doing. Changing the registry may lead to
unpredictable results, severe problems, and may prevent the computer from properly. If
you only read the registry settings, no problems will occur.
The registry settings are located at various subkeys of the following registry key:

DatabaseMaintenanceDelay Operations
DWORD The delay in seconds used by the
MonitorMagic service to perform
database maintenance on an interval
basis. Maintenance is required only
when using the MS Access database. At
the specified intervals, the database is
closed and re-opened to release
memory in use by the Jet engine. By
default (value not specified)
MonitorMagic uses a value of 3600
