Using MonitorMagic
Use the Specify event log monitor window to define the event log monitors that must be
generated when the policy is applied.
Monitor, Name
For a monitor policy, you need to specify the name of the monitor. This name is used only to refer
to the monitor in the policy.
All event logs
Select this option if you want MonitorMagic to create monitors for each event log of the computer.
When the policy is applied to a computer, MonitorMagic will find all the event logs of the computer
and create event log monitors for each of them.
Specific logs of computer
Select this option if you want to generate event log monitors for specific event logs only. You can
add and delete event logs by using the corresponding buttons. Note that only the event logs are
specified in this section, not the computer name. If the policy is applied to a computer that has the
same event log, an event log monitor is generated. If the computer does not have the event log
available, no event log monitor is generated.
