The main <strong>Flagler</strong> <strong>College</strong> campus is the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, a grand<br />

resort built in 1888 with an intricate complex of four buildings representing a<br />

melange of historical and distinctive architectural styles.<br />

PSY 330 – Psychology of Aging (3)<br />

Prerequisites: PSY 101 and six hours in Psychology or permission of<br />

instructor. The biopsychosocial aspects of aging from young adulthood through<br />

old age. Age-related changes and their implications for behavior in older age.<br />

PSY 333 – Cognition (3)<br />

Prerequisites: PSY 101 and six hours in Psychology or permission of<br />

instructor. An examination of the basic principles of learning and memory,<br />

using both behavioristic and cognitive perspectives. A consideration of animal<br />

learning as well as human acquisition, retention, and processing of information.<br />

PSY 340 – Selected Topics (3)<br />

Prerequisites: PSY 101, six hours in Psychology, and permission of<br />

instructor. Majors or minors only. Seminar investigating specialized topics in<br />

psychology or topics not covered in other psychology courses.<br />

PSY 344 – Adolescent Psychology (3)<br />

Prerequisites: PSY 101 and six hours in Psychology or permission of<br />

instructor. This course focuses on the psychosocial aspects of the developing<br />

person from adolescence until early adulthood. Stages of development in the
