Richard Finkel Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was established<br />

through a gift from the estate of Richard W. Finkel in 1994. To qualify for this<br />

scholarship, a student must be a junior or senior, be accepted into the Pre-Law<br />

program, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and be of good character.<br />

Florida East Coast Railway Scholarship. This scholarship was<br />

established in 2000 by Florida East Coast Industries, with which <strong>Flagler</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />

shares a connected history traceable to Henry <strong>Flagler</strong>. To qualify, a student must<br />

meet the following requirements: Resident of Florida, minimum cumulative<br />

need. Preference is given to children or grandchildren<br />

of employees of Florida East Coast Industries or its subsidiaries. To apply, a<br />

Dr. William C. Friday Scholarship. This scholarship was established<br />

in 1999 by Mrs. Molly Wiley, sister of <strong>Flagler</strong> <strong>College</strong> founder, Mr. Lawrence<br />

Lewis, Jr., and Mr. Thomas Kenan, III, a longstanding member of the <strong>Flagler</strong><br />

<strong>College</strong> President’s Council. The scholarship honors Dr. William C. Friday for<br />

his years of service as Executive Director of the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable<br />

<br />

(Note: Florida recipients, scholarship amount must be readjusted for FRAG).<br />

To qualify, a student must be a junior or senior majoring in Graphic Design and<br />

have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.<br />

William and Eloise Gay Baseball Scholarship. This scholarship was<br />

established in 2006 by William and Eloise Gay of Jacksonville, Florida. The<br />

scholarship is awarded to a member of the <strong>Flagler</strong> <strong>College</strong> Baseball Team who is<br />

also a full-time junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above and is of<br />

outstanding character. To apply, the student should contact the <strong>Flagler</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />

Baseball Coach and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.<br />

William and Eloise Gay Scholarship. This scholarship was established<br />

in 2000 by William and Eloise Gay of Jacksonville, Florida. To qualify, a student<br />

must be a junior or senior majoring in Business Administration or Accounting,<br />

have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, be of good character, and have<br />

need. Additionally, the student must be a resident of<br />

one of the following Florida counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, or St. Johns.<br />

W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractors Employee Scholarship. This<br />

scholarship was established in 2007 by the employees of W.W. Gay Mechanical<br />

Contractors Corp. To qualify a student must be a dependent of an employee of<br />

W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractors. To apply a student should contact the W.W. Gay
