Sociology Minor: Students minoring in sociology must take a total of 18
with at least six hours at the 300 and 400 level.
Criminology Minor: Students choosing to minor in Criminology will
analyze law and the criminal justice system, study the causes and consequences of
crime, and critique social responses to crime. Students minoring in criminology
additional credit hours of sociology electives with a criminology emphasis, which
NOTE: Sociology electives which satisfy both a Sociology major or minor and a
criminology minor cannot be counted toward both degrees.
