as Conceptualised in Logical Framework Analysis<br />

Sustainability<br />

An assessment of the extent to which the positive effects of the project<br />

can be expected to continue after external assistance has been concluded.<br />

Efficiency<br />

How the results stand in relation to the effort expended;<br />

how economically inputs are converted into outputs;<br />

whether the same results could have been achieved<br />

in another, better way.<br />

Relevance<br />

The degree to which the project can be justified in relation to local<br />

and national development priorities.<br />

Impact<br />

The changes and effects (positive and negative,<br />

planned and unforeseen) due to the project,<br />

seen in relation to both target and others who are affected.<br />

Effectiveness<br />

The extent to which the objectives have been achieved;<br />

whether this can be expected<br />

to happen on the basis of the project outputs.<br />
