property damage. Shearstown Brook burst its<br />

bank <strong>and</strong> the bridge over the river was in danger<br />

of failing. Numerous basements were flooded.<br />

The access road was washed out meaning the<br />

Marine <strong>Atlantic</strong> ferry couldn't run. The road to the<br />

fish plant was washed out. Houses had 4-5 feet<br />

of water in them, 4 different sections of the road<br />

was washed out.<br />
