For example, y1, y2, y3, y4, and y5 mayrepresent repeated measures of heavy drinking; y6, y7, y8, and y9 mayrepresent repeated measures of alcohol dependence; and x1, x2, and x3may represent repeated measures of marital status.TNAMESThe TNAMES option is used to generate variable names for the newmultiple cohort analysis variables. A root name is specified for each setof variables mentioned using the TIMEMEASURES option. The age ofthe respondent at the time the variable was measured is attached to theroot name. The age is determined by subtracting the cohort value fromthe year the variable was measured.
