ANALYSIS CommandMCSEEDThe MCSEED option is used to specify a random seed when theMONTECARLO setting of the INTEGRATION option is used. It isspecified as follows:MCSEED = 23456;ADAPTIVEThe ADAPTIVE option is used to customize the numerical integrationpoints for each observation during the computation. The ADAPTIVEoption is available for each of the three settings of the INTEGRATIONoption. The ADAPTIVE option has two settings: ON and OFF. Thedefault is ON. To turn the ADAPTIVE option off, specify:ADAPTIVE = OFF;INFORMATIONThe INFORMATION option is used to select the estimator of theinformation matrix to be used in computing standard errors when the MLor MLR estimators are used for analysis. The INFORMATION optionhas three settings: OBSERVED, EXPECTED, and COMBINATION.OBSERVED estimates the information matrix using observed secondorderderivatives; EXPECTED estimates the information matrix usingexpected second-order derivatives; and COMBINATION estimates theinformation matrix using a combination of observed and expectedsecond-order derivatives. For MLR, OBSERVED, EXPECTED, andCOMBINATION refer to the outside matrices of the sandwich estimatorused to compute standard errors. The INFORMATION option is specified as follows:INFORMATION = COMBINATION;The default is to estimate models under missing data theory using allavailable data. In this case, the observed information matrix is used. For models with all continuous outcomes that are estimated withoutnumerical integration, the expected information matrix is also available.545
