The listfunction for labels can be used only with a list of parameters. Followingis an example of how this is done:MODEL:f BY y1y2-y4 (p2-p4);where the factor loadings for y2, y3, and y4 are assigned the labels p2,p3, and p4, respectively.ASSIGNING PRIORS TO PARAMETERSPriors are assigned to the parameters using the tilde (~) symbol, whichmeans distributed as, using the following distribution settings:Normal – NLognormal – LNUniform – UInverse Gamma – IGGamma – GInverse Wishart – IWDirichlet – DEach setting has two numbers in parentheses following the setting. Forthe normal and lognormal distributions, the first number is the mean andthe second number is the variance. For the uniform distribution, the firstnumber is the lower limit and the second number is upper limit. For theinverse Gamma distribution, the first number is the shape parameter andthe second number is the scale parameter. For the Gamma distribution,the first number is the shape parameter and the second number is theinverse scale parameter. For the inverse Wishart distribution, the firstnumber is used to form a covariance matrix and the second number is thedegrees of freedom. For the Dirichlet distribution, the first number givesthe number of observations to add to the class referred to and the second621
