ANALYSIS CommandMATRIXThe MATRIX option identifies the matrix to be analyzed. The defaultfor continuous outcomes is to analyze the covariance matrix. Thefollowing statement requests that a correlation matrix be analyzed:MATRIX = CORRELATION;The analysis of the correlation matrix is allowed only when alldependent variables are continuous and there is a single group analysiswith no mean structure. Only the WLS estimator is allowed for this typeof analysis. For models with all categorical dependent variables, the correlationmatrix is always analyzed. For models with combinations of categoricaland continuous dependent variables, the variances for the continuousdependent variables are always included.OPTIONS RELATED TO BAYES ESTIMATIONAND MULTIPLE IMPUTATIONPOINTThe POINT option is used to specify the type of Bayes point estimate tocompute. The POINT option has three settings: MEDIAN, MEAN, andMODE. The default is MEDIAN. With the MODE setting, the modereported refers to the multivariate mode of the posterior distribution. This mode is different from the univariate mode reported in the plot ofthe Bayesian posterior parameter distribution. To request that the meanbe computed, specify:POINT = MEAN;CHAINSThe CHAINS option is used to specify how many independent Markovchain Monte Carlo (MCMC) chains to use. The default is two. Torequest that four chains be used, specify:CHAINS = 4;559
