OUTPUT, SAVEDATA, And PLOT CommandsTHE PLOT COMMANDPLOT:The PLOT command is used to request graphical displays of observeddata and analysis results. These graphical displays can be viewed afterthe analysis is completed using a post-processing graphics module.Following are the options for the PLOT command:TYPE ISSERIES ISOUTLIERS AREMONITOR ISPLOT1;PLOT2;PLOT3;list of variables in a series plus x-axisvalues;MAHALANOBIS;LOGLIKELIHOOD;INFLUENCE;COOKS;ON;OFF;OFFThe PLOT command is not a required command. Note that commandscan be shortened to four or more letters. Option settings can be referredto by either the complete word or the part of the word shown above inbold type.The AUXILIARY option of the VARIABLE command can be used inconjunction with the PLOT command to save variables that are not usedin the analysis for subsequent use in graphical displays.TYPEThe TYPE option is used to specify the types of plots that are requested.The TYPE option has three settings: PLOT1, PLOT2, and PLOT3.Following is a list of the plots obtained with TYPE=PLOT1:• Histograms (sample values)• Scatterplots (sample values)• Sample means679
