ANALYSIS Commandwhere 500 is the number of bootstrap draws to be used in thecomputation. An alternative specification is:BOOTSTRAP = 500 (STANDARD);The BOOTSTRAP option for residual bootstrapping is specified asfollows:BOOTSTRAP = 500 (RESIDUAL);where 500 is the number of bootstrap draws to be used in thecomputation.LRTBOOTSTRAPThe LRTBOOTSTRAP option is used in conjunction with the TECH14option of the OUTPUT command to specify the number of bootstrapdraws to be used in estimating the p-value of the parametricbootstrapped likelihood ratio test (McLachlan & Peel, 2000). Thedefault number of bootstrap draws is determined by the program using asequential method in which the number of draws varies from 2 to 100.The LRTBOOTSTRAP option is used to override this default. The LRTBOOTSTRAP option is specified as follows:LRTBOOTSTRAP = 100;where 100 is the number of bootstrap draws to be used in estimating thep-value of the parametric bootstrapped likelihood ratio test.OPTIONS RELATED TO RANDOM STARTSFor TYPE=MIXTURE, TYPE=TWOLEVEL with categorical outcomesand weighted least squares estimation, and TYPE=EFA, random sets ofstarting values can be generated. Random starts can be turned off ordone more thoroughly using the following set of options. When TYPE=MIXTURE is used, random sets of starting values aregenerated as the default for all parameters in the model except variancesand covariances. These random sets of starting values are randomperturbations of either user-specified starting values or default starting549
