CCTNS Functional & Technical SpecificationsApplication Development and Unit TestingThe SI would develop the application in accordance with the approved requirementsspecifications and design specifications and according to the approved Project Plan and carryout the Unit Testing of the application in accordance with the approved test plans. The SIshall consider the local language support and prepare necessary configuration files for bothCAS and additional functionalities/modules developed as part of CAS.The SI would also implement the changes proposed in the Change/Reference document toCore Application Software and carry out a thorough regression testing including runningsome of the previously executed scripts for the functionality from the traceability matrixprovided by NCRB/State.The SI shall also develop a Data Migration Utility/application for the additionalfunctionalities with all the formats and tools to load the data into the state databases. This willmigrate data from legacy/paper based systems of the new modules to the CAS databases.The user acceptance testing and fine-tuning of the application would be at State Headquarterspremises. Also, the key senior resources would continue to be based onsite at StateHeadquarter premises.Configuration of CAS (State)The SI shall configure CAS (State) to the requirements of the State that include but notlimited to:1. Developing Local Language Interfaces and Support2. Configuring users3. Configuring Police Stations / Higher Offices4. Configuration of the UI as required by the StateThe collection and validation of the data required for the configuration of the CAS (State)shall be the responsibility of the SI.Assam Police Page 128
