CCTNS Functional & Technical SpecificationsThe data reconciliation and de-duplication is a major activity to be carried out as part of thedata migration.Key Points to be Considered:1. Data to be digitized in from year 2010 to 1999, which means task to be done from recentyears to the back years.2. FIR cases to be digitized first.3. The closed cases may be updated at later dates only live cases to be prioritized.4. CIPA data are in MySql database.5. Most of the data to be digitized in Police Station are in the form of handwritten and written invernacular languages like Assamese and Bengali, as such people with the knowledge ofreading, writing & speaking may be deployed for this activity for maintaining data accuracy.6. Necessary help from the Police Station is a must for ensuring quality.7. No data should be taken out of the Police Stations and work must be completed within theofficial premise.8. Other data mostly kept in Windows platform such as Word, Excel etc.9. Data digitization to be started during the first phase itself across all Police Stations.10.
