The EMS shallpreferably meet the following indicative requirements:i) System and Database Performance Monitoring RequirementsThe proposed server performance management system shall integrate networkperformance management systems and provide the unified performance state view ina single console. The current performance state of the entire network and serverinfrastructure shall be visible in an integrated console.The proposed tool must provide lightweight server agents to ensure availability andperformance for target server nodes and deliver scalable, real-time management ofcritical systems.The proposed tool should be able to monitor various operating system parameterssuch as processors, memory, files, processes, file systems, etc. where applicable,using agents on the servers to be monitored. It should be possible to configure theoperating system monitoring agents to monitor based on user-defined thresholds forwarning/critical states and escalate events to the central console of the enterprisemanagement system.The proposed tool should integrate with network performance management systemand support operating system monitoring for various platforms including Windows,UNIX and Linux.Assam Police Page 139
