CCTNS Functional & Technical SpecificationsThe services shall be rendered onsite from the Assam Police designated premises. To providethe support for the police stations, sub-divisional offices, district headquarters /commissionerates, ranges, Assam Police Headquarters and other locations across the AssamPolice where the software, hardware, and other infrastructure will be rolled out, SI isexpected to provide experienced and skilled29 personnel at each location. The SI will alsoensure that there is a Service Center available or setup at each district or a group of districtsof Assam, as per mutual understanding between State and SI.As part of the Warranty Services SI shall provide:1. SI shall provide a comprehensive warranty and on-site free service warranty for 5 yearsfrom the date of Go Live for all equipments.2. SI shall obtain the five year product warranty and five year onsite free service warrantyfrom OEM on all licensed software, computer hardware and peripherals, networkingequipments and other equipment for providing warranty support to Assam Police.3. SI shall provide the comprehensive manufacturer's warranty and support in respect ofproper design, quality and workmanship of all hardware, equipment, accessories etc. coveredby the RFP. SI must warrant all hardware, equipment, accessories, spare parts, software etc.procured and implemented as per this RFP against any manufacturing defects during thewarranty period.4. SI shall provide the performance warranty in respect of performance of the installedhardware and software to meet the performance requirements and service levels in the RFP.5. SI is responsible for sizing and procuring the necessary hardware and software licenses asper the performance requirements provided in the RFP. During the warranty period SI shallreplace or augment or procure higher-level new equipment or additional licenses at noadditional cost to the Assam Police in case the procured hardware or software is not adequateto meet the service levels.6. Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF): If during contract period, any equipment has ahardware failure on four or more occasions in a period of less than three months, it shall bereplaced by equivalent or higher-level new equipment by the SI at no cost to Assam Police.However, if the new equipment supplied is priced lower than the price at which the originalitem was supplied, the differential cost should be refunded to Assam Police. For any delayin making available the replacement and repaired equipments for inspection, delivery ofequipments or for commissioning of the systems or for acceptance tests / checks on per siteAssam Police Page 183
