CCTNS Functional & Technical SpecificationsSite Preparation shall cover all the activities necessary to enable the Police Station to setupthe client site infrastructure and operate on CCTNS.8.4 INFRASTRUCTURE AT THE CLIENT SITE LOCATIONSThe premises for offices will be provided by the department at respective locations. The listof Police Stations, Circle offices, and other locations where the infrastructure is required isprovided under the Geographical Scope Section. SI shall procure the CCTNS infrastructurerequired at the locations statewide.At each such location the following shall be carried out.1. Supply of the hardware, software, networking equipments, UPS, DG set to thelocation as per the requirements2. Redundant Network Connectivity - Ensuring last mile connectivity andtesting.(At some locations SWAN may be available. SI shall ensure there isredundancy in the connection)3. Installation, Testing and Commissioning of UPS, DG-Set4 Physical Installation of Desktops, Printer, Scanner, /MFD, Switch- Connectingperipherals, devices, Plugging in5. Operating System Installation and Configuration6 Installation of Antivirus and other support software if any\7. Configuring the security at the desktops, switch and broadband connectionrouters8. Network and browser Configuration9. Test accessibility and functionality of CCTNS application from the desktops10. Ensuring all the systems required are supplied, installed, configured, testedand commissioned and declaring the site to be operational.CCTNS application will be accessed and used at various access locations across the state likePolice Stations, Circle Office, Sub Division office, District Office and other higher offices.Assam Police Page 131
