The contributionsof various cultures and influences of otherdisciplines to mathematical thinking arestudied.GenEd: B3MATH 137 STRATEGIES ANDGAME DESIGN (3)Three hours lecture per weekPrerequisite: A passing score on the EntryLevel Mathematics ExaminationThis course introduces mathematics to theanalysis of games. Topicsinclude: probability and statistics,sample data, probability and empiricaldata distributions, sampling techniques,estimation and hypothesis testing,ANOVA, and correlation and regressionanalysis. Combinatorics, graph theory,moduli calculus. Coding, coding errorsand Hamming codes.
