Chapter 6 - Parameter Description [FU1]6.2 Function 1 Group [FU1]FU1-00: Jump to Desired Code #FU1► Jump code00 1Factory Default: 1Jumping directly to any parameter code can beaccomplished by entering the desired code number. Thiscode is available only with LCD keypad.FU1-03: Run PreventionFU1► Run prev.03 NoneThis function prevents reverse operation of the motor. This function may be used for loads that rotate only inone direction such as fans and pumps.Setting RangeLCD 7-SegDescriptionNone 0 Forward and Reverse run is available.Forward Prev 1 Forward run is prevented.Reverse Prev 2 Reverse run is prevented.FU1-05: Acceleration PatternFU1-06: Deceleration Pattern03Factory Default: None 0FU1►Acc. pattern05 Linear05Factory Default: Linear 0FU1►Dec. pattern06 Linear06Factory Default: Linear 0000Different combinations of acceleration and decelerationpatterns can be selected according to the application.Setting RangeLCD 7-SegLinear 0S-curve 1U-curve 2Minimum 3Optimum 4DescriptionThis is a general pattern for constanttorque applications. This pattern allows the motor toaccelerate and decelerate smoothly. Theactual acceleration and deceleration timetakes longer- about 40% than the time setin DRV-01 and DRV-02.This setting prevents shock duringacceleration and deceleration, andprevents objects from swinging onconveyors or other moving equipment. This pattern provides more efficientcontrol of acceleration and deceleration intypical winding machine applications. The inverter makes shorten theacceleration time by accelerating with acurrent rate of about 150% of its ratedcurrent and reduces the deceleration timeby decelerating with a DC voltage rate of95% of its over-voltage trip level.Appropriate application: When themaximum capability of the inverter andthe motor are required.Inappropriate application: The currentlimit function may operate for a longperiod of time for loads that have highinertia such as fans. The inverter accelerates with a currentrate of about 120% of its rated currentand decelerates with a DC voltage rate of93% of its over-voltage trip level.☞ Note: In case of selecting the ‘Minimum’ or ‘Optimum’,the DRV-01 and DRV-02 is ignored.☞ Note: ‘Minimum’ and ‘Optimum’ functions operatenormally when the load inertia is less than 10 timescompared to the motor inertia. (FU2-37)☞ Note: ‘Optimum’ is useful when the motor capacity issmaller than the inverter capacity.☞ Note: ‘Minimum’ and ‘Optimum’ functions are notappropriate for down operation in an elevator application.87
