acquisition, resettlement and compensation in an independent and candid manner so as to ensure
that the policy objective of ADB is implemented broadly and accurately.
A. Supervision Contents
(i) Check if the acquisition and resettlement are carried out according to articles of RAP.
(ii) Make sure works that should be finished prior to construction are accomplished.
(iii) Decide an overall objective of acquisition and resettlement plan and the schedule of
implementing RAP.
(iv) Make sure that the lost fortune is equivalent to the replacement price, building
dismantling and resettlement go smoothly, and affected individuals recover their
original income.
(v) Satisfaction degree of affected individuals about land acquisition and resettlement as
well as the living standard recovery measures.
(vi) Satisfaction degree of affected individuals about land acquisition and resettlement and
quality and quantity of redistribution land.
(vii) Satisfaction degree of affected individuals about location of resettlement and
difference of environment with the original location.
(viii) Satisfaction degree of affected individuals about compensation standard and method
of dismantled houses, buildings, ground attachment.
(ix) Satisfaction degree of affected individuals about subsidy standard and amount in
resettlement.
(x) In the course of acquisition and resettlement, whether correlative institution and local
government consult fully with affected individuals and whether any forced dismantled
and resettlement happened.
(xi) Supervision on fund flow of land acquisition and resettlement.
B. Schedule of Supervision
61. The supervision shall begin from (Month) (Day), 200x and wind up as the general supervision
evaluation is worked out upon the completion of the Project.
