There are n<strong>in</strong>e whorls, ofwhich <strong>the</strong> two apical are smooth and c<strong>on</strong>vex, <strong>the</strong> four succeed<strong>in</strong>g<strong>on</strong>es str<strong>on</strong>gly ribbed and transversely grooved a little beneath <strong>the</strong>suture, <strong>the</strong> furrow divid<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> ribs <strong>in</strong>to two unequal parts. Thethree last voluti<strong>on</strong>s are smooth, and a little more c<strong>on</strong>vex than <strong>the</strong>sculptured <strong>on</strong>es above.
