The result after a repeated render should show the sunlight and its shadow on the sofa.
As you can see in Figure 5.18, the mirror has a plain material and doesn’t reflect at all.
Let’s fix this by applying a mirror material to it. This time, we’ll make a custom material.

To do this, select the mirror polygons in your model first. You will then see the material
highlighted in the tree view on the left side of the screen. Right-click on it and select “Edit
Material . . .” from the context menu. A Material Editor dialog opens, where you need to
make the changes shown here.

You won’t see much of a change in the viewer, but if you redo the rendering, as shown
in Figure 5.19, you’ll see that the material now reflects like a perfect mirror.
