The following general rules apply for template files (.NVT):
• They may have only one device in them
• They must have only one page collection below the Home page collection
• They should have 8 point or larger font
• They should be set to inherit functions from the master page
Saving a Configuration as a Template
You can save a configuration as a template. You can set up a template to
include commonly used features that are configured the way you want
them, then you can import the template and customize the configurations to
your client’s preferences, instead of creating all new configurations from
scratch.
1. Click File|Save As Nevo Template
2. Select a configuration and click Save as Template
3. Choose a storage location within …\Gallery\Templates, give the
template a new name, and choose the device type, then click OK.
Installer Tip: When creating your own templates, you should consider
including the controller type (NevoQ50 or NevoS70 ) in the file name.
This will make it easier to select the correct templates when you are
adding devices.
