Workspace Getting to Know NevoStudio Pro Start Page The start page opens when you first start NevoStudio Pro: From this page you can: • Start a new job (see “Creating a Configuration” on page 33) • Open an existing job (see “Editing an Existing Job File” on page 35) • Visit www.mynevo.com and use its online resources Installer Tip:Once you open a job or start a new one, the Design panel is where you design a Nevo interface:The function and/or hard key editing areas may be disabled, depending on the page properties. See “Page Properties” on page 145. The Design panel contains the following tools: • Click to change the touchscreen page and key editing area alignment. • Click to view the site map. Setting Up Your Workspace You can dock and undock panels, menus and toolbars in NevoStudio Pro’s workspace to suit how you best work with it. These settings are persistent—each time you open NevoStudio Pro, it will always appear as you last left the workspace. This assumes you last exited NevoStudio Pro gracefully. Adjusting Panels NevoStudio Pro’s panels let you adjust the workspace to create the view that works best for you. Getting to Know NevoStudio Pro Workspace • Drag a panel from its current place to the location you prefer. The panel will “snap” to a location when the mouse cursor is over a dockable area as you drag the panel. Default Docking Positions Modified Docking Positions • Resize a panel by clicking and dragging a panel border. • Dock or undock panels by double-clicking the panel title bar.
