Changing Nevo System Settings Working with Nevo Installer Tip: You can add as many Media Zones as you desire using the Add Zone button. b. Type a name for the Media Zone. Be as specific as possible to make it easy for your client to identify what you defined as a zone. c. (Recommended) Select an image to represent this zone on the Media Zones menu. Click the default image to browse for images. d. Select the media server (content source) that stores the digital content you want your clients to be able to access in this zone. e. Select the media player (playback target) that will play the digital content in this zone. f. Select the device that controls the volume for the media player. For example, if your media player is connected to a receiver, you would select the receiver from the drop down list. Installer Tip: Volume control will use only the command associated with the UEI database volume identification. If you learn this device, be sure to use the pull down to select Volume Up or Down from the available list. g. If there is a start sequence that should turn on the media server and player or change any TV or tuner/amp settings, select it from the list of global macros you have already created. Installer Tip: Use the Actions panel to create the action sequence, which will be stored in a global macro. See “Working with Global Macros” on page 98 for details. 132 NevoStudio Pro Design Guide
Working with Nevo Downloading Configurations To modify an existing zone, click the zone name in the list and change any of the fields as described above. Highlight a zone from the list and click to delete it. Installer Tip: Any Media Zone created can be attached to all Nevo S70 configurations or any subset of them. 5. Click the Other Settings tab and change any of the following settings: • Time display format • Global audio feeback • Volume • Global Macro delay • Power Resume settings 6. Click OK. Downloading Configurations Once you have created a configuration and tested it in Nevo Emulator, you can download it to Nevo to verify device codes against the equipment. Nevo is programmed and ready to be delivered to the client. CAUTION: Be sure you have fully charged Nevo for the first time before you download configurations to it.
