Working with Projects Designing with NevoStudio Pro Importing Nevo Configuration (.NVO and .NVP) Files You can import Nevo configurations into a job. This is helpful when dealing with Nevo SL project files, which must be imported into NevoStudio Pro before they can be modified. You can use the import function to replace configurations by adding a new configuration and deleting the configuration you want to replace and assigning the correct name to the imported configuration. 1. Use one of the following methods: • Click File|Import Nevo Configuration • Right-click job and select Import Nevo Configuration • Drag configuration from one job to another • Copy/Paste from one job to another a. If you selected Import Nevo Configuration, The following dialog appears: b. Type the drive and folder of the configuration you are importing or click to browse for a location. NevoStudio Pro will import the configuration. Installer Tip: If the name of the Configuration or any of its components is a duplicate of an existing name, NevoStudio Pro will require you to rename it. 2. Click Next. Designing with NevoStudio Pro Working with Projects Exporting Configurations Allows you to take a single configuration file from a solution and export it as an .NVP file 1. Select File|Export Nevo Configuration... or right-click a configuration in the solution panel and select Export Configuration. 2. Select a configuration from the list and click Export. 3. Navigate to the drive and folder where you want to store the configuration. By default, documents are stored in \My Documents\NevoStudio Pro. 4. Click Save. Restoring a Configuration from Nevo Restore allows you to bring a configuration already on a Nevo controller into NevoStudio Pro for modification/updating in cases where the original configuration file is not available.
