I.2.3 There is need to facilitate the approval of the Draft National Wetlands Policy and Strategy by Parliament. I.2.4 Difficulties in obtaining, updating and accessing existing information for resource planning and management in the ODRS. I.2.5 Research in the ODRS needs to be coordinated. I.2.6 The long standing problem of fisheries conflicts need to be resolved. DEA to strengthen the capacity of the ODRS DEA office to coordinate and monitor implementation of the ODMP by March 2008 NWDC to strengthen the capacity of the communities in management and sustainable use of the natural resources by DWNP to improve the manpower capacity in the Fisheries Division to sustainably manage the fish resources by 2012 NWDC to improve solid waste collection within the ODRS by 2012 NWDC to improve the solid and liquid waste infrastructures in the ODRS 2012 NWDC to improve the institutional capacity of the district waste management.
