6-232 Chapitre 6 Les mesures réalisées sur les plants <strong>de</strong> pépinière fournissent <strong>de</strong>s héritabilités plus faibles bien que significatives (0,41 < h²Gi < 0,72). Les plus faibles sont obtenues pour le site <strong>de</strong> Gembloux pour lequel les boutures avaient subi <strong>de</strong>ux transferts supplémentaires (une transplantation et un déplacement <strong>de</strong> ces plants <strong>de</strong> la serre vers un milieu ouvert) qui ont probablement affecté la formation <strong>du</strong> <strong>bois</strong>. Des tests complémentaires, visant notamment à mieux prendre en compte le <strong>bois</strong> <strong>de</strong> compression, seraient donc souhaitables avant <strong>de</strong> tirer <strong>de</strong>s conclusions générales sur ce type <strong>de</strong> matériel. 6.2.2.2. Paramètres génotypiques pour les mesures réalisées à l'ai<strong>de</strong> <strong>du</strong> Pilodyn et <strong>du</strong> Sylvatest Comme pour les mesures <strong>de</strong> la masse volumique, la mesure <strong>de</strong> résistance à la pénétration à l'ai<strong>de</strong> <strong>du</strong> Pilodyn dans quatre sites en Région wallonne (Tableau 6.2.4) est fortement héritable (0,55 < h²Gi < 0,77), ce qui confirme le seul résultat disponible, obtenu en France pour le <strong>Mélèze</strong> hybri<strong>de</strong>, qui fait état d'une héritabilité génotypique <strong>de</strong> 0,58 (MURANTY, 1993), dans un test constitué <strong>de</strong> jeunes boutures <strong>de</strong> 96 clones, en forêt.
