Will honey be a goodprovision?Rabbit: No idea.Student: Honey is food high in calories, containingsugars that give you energy and the formulais... (starts writing on board)Rabbit: How do you know?Student: I have a marvellous chemistry teacher.Piglet enters, blowing at a dandelion.Winnie the Pooh: Hi, Piglet (frightens him, Pigletdrops the dandelion). What are you doing?Piglet: I was blowing at a dandelion.Winnie the Pooh: What’s a dandelion?Student: A dandelion is a yellow flower which reproducesitself by blow-balls.Piglet: How do you know that?Student: I have a terrific biology teacher.Winnie the Pooh: Anyway, we are going on an expedition,all of us, with things to eat, to discoversomething.Piglet: To discover what?Winnie the Pooh: Oh, just something.Piglet: Nothing dangerous, I hope?Winnie the Pooh: No. I’ve got to call everyone.Hey! Everyone, come here (enters Kanga,Roo, Owl, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit’s friends andrelations).Rabbit: I didn’t ask them, they just came. Theyalways do.Christopher: OK, everyone, let me have a look atyou. Gee, you’re in terrible shape! We haveto get fit or at least warm up before the expedition.Piglet: What shall we do?Student: You have to do some stretching exercisesand jogging perhaps (they exercise).Eeyore: Really? How do you know that?Student: I have a very resourceful PE teacher.Christopher: OK, that’s enough, let’s go (they marcharound the stage).Owl: How far is it to the North Pole? When willwe get there?Winnie the Pooh: I don’t think I can answer thisquestion. I am a bear with a very little brain,you know.Student: It depends how fast you walk. If youwalk 5 kilometers an hour and the distanceis nine thousand kilometers it will take youone thousand eight hundred hours, whichmakes 75 days.Owl: How do you know that?Student: I have a very dedicated maths teacher.Winnie the Pooh: Oh, I see. Actually, I don’t. Anyway,let’s sing something (all sing Song 2).They all went off to discover the poleOwl and Piglet and Rabbit and all.It’s a thing you discover as I’ve been toldby Owl and Piglet and Rabbit and all.Eeyore, Christopher Robin and PoohAnd Rabbits relations all went tooAnd where the pole was none of them newbut it may appear just out of the blue.Christopher: We are just coming to a dangerousplace. Hush! (they come to a river, all sayHush).Piglet: (is scared) What do we do now? (all turntowards Student).Student: You could build a raft. To do that youneed wooden planks, ropes, a sail, nails andtools. Here, I made a drawing for you (showsthe drawing).Roo: Wow! How did you know how to do it?Student: I have an amazing design and technologyteacher.Christopher: We don’t have time to build a raft.We’ll jump (they jump).Eeyore: Look at this (shows church). Can it be theNorth Pole?Student: It is a church, a place where peoplepray. You can pray for the success of yourexpedition.Eeyore: How do you know that?Student: I have a demanding religion teacher.Kanga: Isn’t it beautiful here? Look at this landscape,the trees and lakes and flowers.Roo: And cans and beer bottles and other interestingrubbish (shows some rubbish).Kanga: I would love to be able to paint it.Student: Like this? (shows the picture).Kanga: It is wonderful! How did you do it?138
