Mr. Charles Maiwa : My names are Charles Maiwa Project Manager wa Kiptere Youth Polytechnic. I am presenting a<br />
memorandum on behalf of the staff of this particular institution.<br />
Ningetaja tu major points lakini, what I could read are self explanatory in the papers. First of all this is, I am saying some few<br />
things.<br />
Youth Polytechnic Instructors should be defined recognized and be absorbed in the Ministry like any other Civil Servant. The<br />
Government absorbs and recognize the presence of staff in the Youth Polytechnic like any other Civil Servant.<br />
To set up a system of paying salaries: For staff in the Ministry for now there is delay of grants. Salary is in payment per month<br />
is first of all through grants. The salaries to be paid by the Ministry not the grants.<br />
Two. Recognize the Basic Salaries by Job Groups:<br />
Three: The staff to be provided with House Allowance, Staffing Allowance, Medical Allowance, Hardship Allowance and<br />
Scheme.<br />
