Mr. Charles Maiwa : My names are Charles Maiwa Project Manager wa Kiptere Youth Polytechnic. I am presenting a
memorandum on behalf of the staff of this particular institution.
Ningetaja tu major points lakini, what I could read are self explanatory in the papers. First of all this is, I am saying some few
things.
Youth Polytechnic Instructors should be defined recognized and be absorbed in the Ministry like any other Civil Servant. The
Government absorbs and recognize the presence of staff in the Youth Polytechnic like any other Civil Servant.
To set up a system of paying salaries: For staff in the Ministry for now there is delay of grants. Salary is in payment per month
is first of all through grants. The salaries to be paid by the Ministry not the grants.
Two. Recognize the Basic Salaries by Job Groups:
Three: The staff to be provided with House Allowance, Staffing Allowance, Medical Allowance, Hardship Allowance and
Scheme.
