mkdir ~oracle/doc<br />

• Umgebungsvariablen setzen:<br />

setenv ORACLE_BASE ~oracle<br />

setenv ORACLE_HOME /soft/oracle-7.0.16.4<br />

setenv ORACLE_SID ora1 (Name der Datenbank)<br />

setenv ORACLE_TERM xsun5<br />

• Installationsprogramm starten<br />

more /cdrom/oracle_7016/README<br />

cd /cdrom/oracle_7016/orainst<br />

./orainst<br />

Es folgen die Schritte innerhalb des Installationsprogramms:<br />

• Enter the pathname for your ORACLE_DOC directory: /home2/bedienst/oracle/doc<br />

• ORACLE_HOME (OK)<br />

• Log File to ORACLE_HOME/orainst/install.log<br />

• Oracle Owner (OK)<br />

• View Log File to xterm? (NO)<br />

• Name of Oracle Owner: oracle<br />

• Installer action: COMPLETE SOFTWARE/DATABASE FRESH INSTALL<br />

• Online documentation for all products? (YES)<br />

• ORACLE_SID (OK)<br />

• Native Language: ALL_LANGUAGES<br />

• Relink Executables: (NO) (weil‘s später noch möglich ist bzw. gar nicht möglich ist)<br />

• Post installation script will be written to ORACLE_HOME/orainst/root.sh (wird nicht<br />

benötigt)<br />

• Select Products:<br />

• Oracle Data Query 3.1.0.6.1<br />

• Oracle*Terminal 1.0.10.0.4<br />

• ORACLE7 Procedural Option (PL/SQL V2) 2.0.<br />

• ORACLE7 Server (RDBMS) 7.0.16.4.0<br />

• ORACLE7 XA Library 1.0.3.0.0<br />

• Pro*C 1.5.10.1.0<br />

• SQL*Forms 3.0 3.0.16.12.7<br />

• SQL*Net TCP (V1) 1.2.7.7.1<br />

• SQL*Plus 3.1.3.2.1<br />

• Yellow Pages service orasrv (wurde weiter oben bereits installiert)<br />

• setuid root für tnslsnr vom Listener V2: (NO)<br />

• Would you like to install the SQL*Net Configuration Tool tables in your database? (Yes)<br />

• Would you like to install DECNet Protocol Adapter? (NO)<br />

• Would you like to install OSI4 Protocol Adapter (V2)? (NO)<br />

• Administrator group: dba<br />

• Enter the database name associated with the ora1 instance: ora1<br />
