3.7 CoMMiSSioninG a CLaSS 1<br />

CBR SaFe RooM<br />

Commissioning applies to the Class 1 <strong>Safe</strong> Room. It involves<br />

testing, checking the configuration, <strong>and</strong> per<strong>for</strong>ming functional<br />

checks to ensure the safe room has been installed properly,<br />

protects as intended, <strong>and</strong> can be operated <strong>and</strong> maintained by<br />

its owner. Commissioning addresses not only the safe room<br />

<strong>and</strong> its components, but also the operations <strong>and</strong> maintenance<br />

instructions.<br />
