report on Incidents, Casualties <strong>and</strong> Property Damage <strong>for</strong> all states <strong>for</strong><br />

2002 lists 553 actual bombing incidents, 32 of which were premature<br />

explosions, injuring 80 people, killing 13, <strong>and</strong> causing over $5<br />

million in damages. Nearly half of the events were against buildings<br />

<strong>and</strong> nearly a quarter were against vehicles.<br />
