RiWatchIT V2.1
The RiWatchIT V2.1 software is the Rittal monitoring software
for RimatriX5.
It operates in conjunction with the configuration software
RiGetIT. RiGetIT supplies a graphical representation of the
IT room with monitoring function data integrated into the individual
rack/UPS/power/cooling systems. Using the information
forwarded, the RiWatchIT V2.1 software generates the
basis for monitoring visualisation: A graphical representation
of the room with fixed, allocated alarm messages.
Alarm representation may also be supplemented with individual
JPEG images. In this way, for example, a company
site may be integrated into the management interface and
linked together. The user in RiWatchIT V2.1 always has an
overview of alarm management and is able to see the alarms
originating from the rack in the overview image.
The RiWatchIT V2.1 software has a scan function which
searches the network for all available systems (UPS, PSM,
LCP, CMC, sensors etc.). These components may be allocated
to the actual positions in the room plans of RiGetIT or
the incorporated JPEG images. Data exchange with the CMC
and UPS systems occurs in the IP network via the Simple
Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
