For HART 6 units, the <strong>Maintenance</strong> Required response under<br />
Additional Status does not indicate any maintenance need.<br />
Proceed with the following steps:<br />
1. Press NEXT.<br />
2. Field device has more status available.<br />
3. Press NEXT.<br />
4. Ignore next 50 occurrences of status?<br />
5. Press YES.<br />
6. Change to MANual mode.<br />
7. Scroll to line 6 EXAMINE, press ->.<br />
8. Scroll down to 5 read status.<br />
9. Read message.<br />
10. Press OK.<br />
11. Repeat OK to read all messages until the display returns to read status.<br />
12. Scroll down to 6 clear status, press ->.<br />
13. If clear fault codes not completed appears, press OK <strong>and</strong> read the message (Position<br />
Error, for example) or go to the troubleshooting guide.<br />
14. Correct the problem (Is the air supply on?), <strong>and</strong> then go to clear status until Clear<br />
Fault codes Completed appears.<br />
15. Press OK.<br />
